The Statewide Career and Technical Education (CTE) Advisory Council has formed to provide input and feedback to the Iowa Department of Education during the development of Iowa’s State Plan required under the federal Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act, commonly referred to as Perkins V. The advisory council will be engaged in a comprehensive review of the implementation of Iowa’s state-level CTE initiatives (through House File 2392 - the “CTE redesign” bill).
