U.S. Department of Education Guidance on School Climate Resources

U.S. Department of Education Guidance on School Climate Resources.

On April 10, 2019, the U.S. Department of Education released the Parent and Educator Guide to School Climate Resources. This Guidance is a result of the recommendations of the Federal Commission on school Safety. This guide provides best practices and resources for school leaders and teachers to help improve the school climate, lower disciplinary issues, and enhance school safety. The guide also outlines support from the Department’s two technical assistance centers: the National Center of Safe and Supportive Learning Environments and the Technical Assistance Center on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. If you’re looking for ways to improve your school climate there are plenty of resources outlined in this guidance.
