School Discipline Guidance from U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of Education is Rescinded (February 2018, School Leader Update)
On January 8, 2014, the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of Education released a guidance package on school discipline that explains the responsibilities of local school districts under federal law to administer student discipline without discriminating on the basis of race, color, or national origin.
