Letter to educational leaders regarding discrimination and harassment based on race, religion, or national origin

The U.S. Department of Education issued a Dear Colleague Letter on Dec. 31 requesting assistance from our nation’s education leaders to ensure that schools are learning environments free from discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, religion, or national origin. The letter includes a list of resources for schools to help promote positive school climates.
