About NAEP

Iowa Results

The results of the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) are released as the Nation’s Report Card, which provides the latest results and reports. The State Profiles tool can be used to find key data about state performance on the NAEP assessments in mathematics and reading at grades 4 and 8, and science at grade 8. View trends and demographics for each state and compare results to the nation and to other states. If you want a deeper analysis of NAEP data, the NAEP Data Explorer allows you to create custom reports, statistical tables, and graphics using NAEP data.
