CANCELLED- CACFP Culinary & Meal Training
Learn about the CACFP meal pattern while cooking two CACFP approved snacks! Participants will practice their food safety and knife skills while working with Brenda Windmuller to prepare 2 CACFP approved snacks. Attendees will also strengthen their knowledge of the CACFP meal pattern, learn how to identify whole grain rich grains, and how to credit grains using ounce equivalents. All Centers represented at the training are eligible to receive a $350 sub-grant to help implement goals created at the training. Mileage and sub-pay are also available through a USDA grant.
