A new survey from the Iowa Department of Education has been created to collect input on Iowa’s reading and language arts and mathematics goals for the Every Student Succeeds Act plan.
School leaders, administrators, educators, parents and students, members of the public and other stakeholders are encouraged to provide feedback on this portion of Iowa’s Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) plan. Collected information will help determine future goals, interim targets and plan timelines.
While the goals and interim targets will not be used in any state’s accountability, they are important for our overall commitment to education and the achievement of all Iowa schools.
Input for the ESSA plan will be collected through April 14.
