Seeking elementary, middle school content developers

The Iowa Department of Education is seeking content developers who are licensed Iowa educators to create online units for inclusion in Iowa e-Learning Central.

Iowa e-Learning Central is being developed as a resource to provide access to courses and tools to support educators as they navigate virtual learning environments and incorporate online instruction.

Content developers will create online, student-facing units and the supporting teacher materials. The content that will be developed will be kindergarten through fifth grade English language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. In addition, units will be developed for middle school (6-8) health science service areas. The Iowa Department of Education is seeking to fill approximately 250 positions.
