Monday, May 9, 2022

The Iowa Department of Education is seeking comment on Iowa's K-12 Computer Science Plan.

As part of House File 2629, Iowa is required to submit a detailed state plan on computer science by July 1. The plan outlines the strategic vision for computer science education and the work that is planned for the next five years.

Public comments will be collected through May 28 before a final copy of the state plan is presented to the Iowa State Board of Education.

Iowa is committed to offering high-quality computer science education for all K-12 students to ensure they are prepared for personal and professional success in the digital world.
