Plan to attend conference on work-based learning

Date:
Wednesday, January 12, 2022

Mark your calendars! Early bird registration is now open for the 2022 Iowa’s Annual Work-based Learning Conference. This premier event on work-based learning initiatives will be held on April 14 at The Meadows Events Center in Altoona.

Coordinated through the executive board of the Iowa Work-based Learning Coordinators group, this year’s conference, themed “Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow,” will provide attendees with best practices on how to start a new, high-quality work-based learning program in their school districts or how to enhance an existing one.

A variety of breakout sessions and speakers will be offered during the conference to cover the entire work-based learning continuum. Any attendee, no matter their experience level in work-based learning, will be able to learn new strategies and techniques for their curriculums. Opportunities to network and share local perspectives will also be available during the event.

The annual business meeting and selection of executive board positions will occur during the conference as well.

Work-based learning coordinators, educators, instructors, counselors, administrators and industry partners interested in work-based learning are encouraged to attend.

Limited space is available for the conference. An early bird registration rate of $140 is being offered through March 11.
