Department seeks content expert bids

The Iowa Department of Education is seeking content experts who are licensed Iowa educators to support the development of online units for the Iowa e-Learning Central (ILC). 

The ILC is a new resource that provides access to courses and tools to support educators as they navigate virtual learning environments and incorporate online instruction.

Content experts will provide support and feedback to content developers with a focus on content and coherence. The content that will be developed will be kindergarten through fifth grade English language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The Iowa Department of Education is seeking to fill approximately 50 positions.

If you are interested and qualified, complete the Content Expert Application. Look for bid number ED-EG361-01 or search by Agency: Education. If you know of an Iowa educator who may be interested, let them know about this opportunity.

All proposals must be submitted to OIAS@iowa.gov by 3:30 p.m. on the closing date of the bid. Any questions must also be submitted to this email and will be answered as timely as possible. All educators are invited to keep checking the website for any additional information related to this bid (e.g., addendums, question and answer documents).
