Will each school district's allocation for the Iowa Early Intervention Program be the same each year?
No.
Each year the allocation will be recalculated based on enrollments and counts of students eligible for free or reduced price lunches of the prior year. Beginning with the 2009-2010 school year, the allocation will be rolled into the state aid and will grow each year by the allowable growth determined by the legislature. It will no longer be a separate payment. Rather it will be included in the state aid payment to districts September through June.
