What are the goals of the Early Intervention Program?
The goals are:
- To provide school districts with resources to reduce K-3 class size in basic skills instruction to the state goal of 17 students for every one teacher.
- To provide school districts with resources for K-3 early intervention efforts in basic skills instruction. especially reading.
- To increase communication and accountability regarding student performance.
