Will private providers of supplemental instruction be required to to use research based practices? If not, what is the state's plan to monitor the quality of private services offered to parents?
Unlike Title I schools, supplemental service providers are not required to use research-based strategies. The State is required to develop, implement, and publicly report on standards and techniques for monitoring the quality and the effectiveness for services offered by approved providers.
