Can the school district share its SAVE revenues with a city?

Yes.

The only method by which a city could share in the SAVE funds would be if that entity had a 28E agreement with the school district. In that case, this legislation allows the city's portion of the proceeds to be used for school infrastructure or any valid purposes authorized by the governing board of the city. The requirement that the revenue purpose statement contain a statement as to the specific purpose or purposes for which the revenues shall be expended would include the sharing of tax proceeds with the city. The city could not share in the tax proceeds without a valid 28E agreement.
