How much money will a first year teacher receive from the mentoring program and how/when will it be disbursed?
A first year teacher does not receive any money for participating in a mentoring program. The school district that offers the mentoring/induction program receives $1,300 per first year teacher. The district is required to pay $500 per semester to the teacher that is providing the mentoring to the first year teacher.
