How is this different from traditional vocational education?
Traditionally, vocational education has provided students (usually high school age) with skills and training specific to a single field. Career-based learning provides students of all ages with a broad range of skills applicable to any career. Those skills include reading for information, interpersonal communications, adapting to changing technologies, and common workplace skills — from appropriate dress to punctuality.
