Since Project Lead the Way may be offered as a Math, Science or a CTE credit, what are the licensure requirements for the teacher?
If the Project Lead the Way credit that is granted is being used to meet the district's minimum accreditation "Offer and Teach" requirements, the teacher providing the instruction would need to hold the appropriate licensure endorsement commensurate with the credit being granted. If the PLTW credit is being granted in an area that exceeds the minimum accreditation requirements, the teacher providing the instruction may hold a teaching licensure endorsement in one or more of the following areas: Industrial Technology; Math; or Science Education.
