Are we required to negotiate evaluation procedures?
School boards and the certified bargaining representative SHALL negotiate, pursuant to Iowa Code Chapter 20, evaluation and grievance procedures for teachers other than beginning teachers (teachers holding initial licensure). Previously the language was "MAY negotiate, pursuant to Iowa Code Chapter 20."
