About the meeting:  Participants will review state data on the activities of Iowa youth one year after high school and state data on the existence of transition in IEPs of Iowa high school students.  These are two indicators which the Iowa Department of Education must report to the Office of Special Education Programs.  Discussion will also include identifying priorities and suggesting improvement activities.  Invited participants include representatives of area education agencies, parent organizations, Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation, Department of Human Services, Governor's Developmental Disabilities Council, post-secondary education, and individuals with disabilities.
