Join the upcoming webinar on Summer Food Service Program Training on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 2-4 PM.
This webinar is mandatory for all Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) Sponsors. One person may attend and share information with other staff, but the webinar will include information that is essential for those planning the SFSP menus, serving the SFSP meals/snacks, monitoring the serving sites, and those filing the SFSP claims.
This webinar will provide information on all of the required components of running a successful Summer Food Service Program.
Topics covered will include, but are not limited to:
- SFSP meal patterns and serving sizes,
- menu requirements,
- meal service procedures,
- food safety,
- monitoring documentation,
- monthly claims and reimbursement, allowable operating and administrative costs,
- procurement responsibilities,
- staff training,
- outreach to households, and
- civil rights.
The training will be delivered in a webinar format that can be viewed from a computer connected to the Internet. As the date gets closer, you will receive a link to view the webinar.
