STRAND 1: IS3 Voices for Change--Student Leadership teams will learn powerful and effective communication strategies. They will integrate data into their message to stakeholders in order to inform and inspire positive change.
Presenter: Jean Synodinos
Audience: up to five student leaders, two adult staff and ISU Extension Youth Development Specialist from each IS3 school. (This is a one day workshop. Teams should register for one day only, either November 14 or 15)
STRAND 2: Youth Program Quality Assessment (YPQA) -- The Youth Program Quality Assessment is a research-based tool that provides rigorous measurement of the quality of youth programs and classroom environments. It has wide application as a tool to inform professional and intervention, programs.

Audience: Administrators and teachers from high schools participating in the Iowa Safe and Supportive Schools grant. (This is a one day workshop. Participants should register for one day only, either November 14 or 15)
STRAND 3: Implementing PBIS in the High Schools--This strand will focus on the critical features of PBIS and how practices differ at the high school level. Participants will explore the PBIS process, tools and actions steps for implementation. This session is open to teams, administrators, and technical assistance providers.
Presenter: Steve Romano, Technical Assistance Director--Illinois PBIS Network
Audience: High school and Middle/High teams, administrators and TA providers interested in PBIS at the secondary level. (This is a two day workshop. Participants must register for both days.)
STRAND 4: Olweus--Olweus Trainer Networking Meeting, November 15 only. All Iowa Trainers and Consultants are invited to attend a day of networking and bullying prevention and intervention updates. Marlene Synder, Olweus Development Director, will participate through Skype.

Audience: Olweus Bullying Prevention Trainers/Consultants in Iowa Schools and AEAs only. (This is a one day session. Participants should register for November 15.)
