Comprehensive School Improvement Plans Due

Annual Progress Report Due

The CAR has 2 parts. An online data collection is on the DE secure website. The Chart of Account portion is an upload at the same web address.  The Chart of Account portion must be successfully uploaded before the on-line data collection can be completed.  The district may begin the upload process of the CAR in August as soon as it has entered its fiscal year end accruals and deferrals (60 days) into its accounting records.

The district may begin the SES reporting process in August after successfully completing the CAR.  Most of the information reported on the SES comes from successfully uploading the financial information on the CAR.

The annual school transportation report is due September 17.  This report covers all facets of school transportation including mileage and the number of students transported for the year.  Most of the financial items are imported from the Certified Annual Report (CAR).  You gain access to this report through the online data collection at the Department of Education's secure website.
