Iowa Department of Education Director Jason Glass today announced a meeting of the Task Force on Early Childhood Assessment on Tuesday, Sept. 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The meeting will take place at the West Des Moines Learning Resource Center, 3550 George Mills Civic Parkway, in West Des Moines.

The task force was established as part of Senate File 2284 to select one standard kindergarten readiness assessment for school districts to administer. Meetings are open to the public. More information about the task force is available online.
