The Iowa Department of Education has launched the Iowa Forum on Competency-Based Education. The purpose of the site is to continue the discussion about and further the work on competency-based education across Iowa. Features include:

• Videos and materials from the Research to Action Forum held in December are posted under the Event Archive tab.
• Forum discussions encourage connections between educators interested in competency-based education.
• Groups can be created by districts and schools, by job position or by topic. Members are encouraged to form groups to further discussion.
