New for June 2013
The following documents are provided to help districts and schools prepare for the fall 2013 collection deadline for C-Plan. It is not mandetory to use these documents.

Lau (ELL) Plan
All districts must upload their current 2012-13 ELL Plan as a Word or PDF file as a CSIP question in the 2013 C-plan. Recognizing there will be a Title III state required Lau (ELL) Plan template including 9 critical elements for the 2014-15 academic year, the Lau (ELL) Plan template and Lau (ELL) Plan Reference Guide are attached to the 2013 C-plan for proactive communication and planning purposes. Districts may choose to use the new Lau (ELL) Plan template to update their ELL plan as an additional upload, but should note that the required upload is the plan that was in place for the 2012-2013 academic year. Please refer to the attached Lau (ELL) Plan Reference Guide (Technical Manual) for support in writing your Lau (ELL) Plan for the 2014-2015 academic year.
Writing a Lau Plan to Meet the Needs of English Learners: A Reference Guide for Districts
C-Plan or Consolidated Plan is an effort underway to streamline the collection process of reports, data and progress for districts and schools. C-Plan is a tool districts and schools can use locally, and not just for reporting and compliance to the DE.
Plans Included in C-Plan
- Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP)
- Annual Progress Report (APR)
- Iowa Core Implementation Plan - To be included in June of 2013.
- District Developed Service Delivery Plan (DDSDP)
- Schools In Need of Assistance/Districts in need of Assistance (SINA/DINA) Plan
Additional plans and reports will be considered for inclusion at a future date.
Training
There are no formal trainings for C-Plan scheduled at this time.
