Building the Legacy: A Training Curriculum on IDEA 2004 - http://nichcy.org/laws/idea/legacy - is a training curriculum intended to assist in understanding and implementation of the IDEA 2004 Part B regulations. The training curriculum has five overarching themes with multiple training modules beneath each theme.

Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST) - http://www.cast.org - is a nonprofit research and development organization that works to expand learning opportunities for all individuals, especially those with disabilities, through Universal Design for Learning.

Education Tech Points - http://www.educationtechpoints.org - is the website of the Coalition for Assistive Technology in Oregon (CATO).

Iowa Center for Assistive Technology Education and Research (ICATER)http://www.education.uiowa.edu/icater - offers a place for the advancement and dissemination of assistive technology. The emphases of the Center are education, training and research. The center provides hands-on training in assistive technology to College of Education students and faculty. ICATER also engages in research projects to aid in examining the effectiveness of assistive technology in education, living and work.

Iowa COMPASS - http://www.referweb.net/compass/Search.aspx - is Iowa's free, statewide information and referral service for people with disabilities, their families, service providers, and other members of the community.

Iowa Educators Consortium (IEC) - http://www.iec-ia.org -  is an initiative of the Iowa Area Education Agencies. Iowa AEAs formed the IEC as an independent, tax-exempt, nonprofit institution supporting the mission of the Area Education Agencies.

Iowa Technology Education Connection (ITEC) - http://www.itec-ia.org - promotes the use of technology in education by demonstrating to its members, other educators and the public, developments in educational technology and how its appropriate use supports teaching and learning.

National Instructional Materials Access Center (NIMAC) - http://nimac.us allows users to search the database of digital versions of textbooks and other instructional materials.

National Instructional Materials Accessibility Standard (NIMAS) - http://aim.cast.org - guides the production and electronic distribution of digital versions of textbooks and other instructional materials so they can be more easily converted into accessible formats.

Quality Indicators for Assistive Technology Services (QIAT) - http://natri.uky.edu/assoc_projects/qiat/ - is a nationwide grassroots group that includes hundreds of individuals who provide input into the ongoing process of identifying, disseminating, and implementing a set of widely-applicable Quality Indicators for Assistive Technology Services in school settings.
