Articulaton Agreements
Articulation is a process of mutually agreeing upon performance indicators (and performace levels). Transferable between the high school and a college, students gain advanced placement or creditin a career and technical program.
An articulation agreement is a written document that explains the decisions agreed upon and the process used by the institution to grant advance placement or credit.
Concurent Enrollment
Concurrent enrollment (formerly called "dual credit") occurs when community college courses are taught to high school students and those students receive both high school and college credit. Course content, contact hours, and outcomes must be identical to the course taught through the college. The instructor's credentials must match the credentials of the offering college.
