Contents within this instructional resource library include sections of information related to effective instructional practices for students with significant cognitive disabilities. Exemplars of evidence for the Iowa Alternate Assessment 1% were developed by Iowa Educators and represent the materials used in classrooms across the state.

- General - Documents support and assist in the planning and implementation of academic instruction.
- Literacy - Researched based materials to support students in linking communication and literacy wile developing emergent to conventional literacy skills.
- Mathematics - Researched based materials that support students in accessing general mathematics curriculum.
- Science - Researched based materials that support students in access general science curriculum.
